UbiComp / ISWC 2023
COVID-19 Testing

We are pleased to announce that this year at UbiComp/ISWC we will be providing free masks for whoever needs or wants one. We are also making sure that everybody knows where to purchase Covid tests; the map below shows the location of several pharmacies in the area. In addition, we are selling a limited quantity of tests at the JEDI desk, in case you were not able to find one at the local pharmacy.

With Covid on the rise again, we would like everyone to think about how to protect the most vulnerable in our community, including the immunocompromised, pregnant people, and our elderly loved ones.

While every attendee is free to decide how to engage with Covid protections, we want to emphasize personal responsibility and encourage you to consider testing, and wearing masks, especially around vulnerable colleagues. To promote this cause we will have available at the JEDI desk โ€œI have tested negative for COVID-19โ€ stickers that you can add to your conference badge.

Past Conferences

The ACM international joint conference on Pervasive and Ubiquitous Computing (UbiComp) is the result of a merger of the two most renowned conferences in the field: Pervasive and UbiComp. While it retains the name of the latter in recognition of the visionary work of Mark Weiser, its long name reflects the dual history of the new event.

The ACM International Symposium on Wearable Computing (ISWC) discusses novel results in all aspects of wearable computing, and has been colocated with UbiComp and Pervasive since 2013.

A complete list of UbiComp, Pervasive, and ISWC past conferences is provided below.
