UbiComp / ISWC 2023
Student Volunteers

Student Volunteers (SVs) at UbiComp/ISWC 2023 are the dynamic core, responsible for key tasks that ensure the event’s smooth operation. These tasks include logistics management, where SVs provide essential support to presenters, exhibit setup to create captivating displays, accessibility assistance for all attendees, and language support, particularly in Spanish or other languages. SVs from diverse cultural or religious backgrounds play a vital role in fostering a sense of belonging. These tasks are not just assignments; they are opportunities to make a meaningful impact, connect with fellow attendees, and contribute to an exceptional conference.

Past Conferences

The ACM international joint conference on Pervasive and Ubiquitous Computing (UbiComp) is the result of a merger of the two most renowned conferences in the field: Pervasive and UbiComp. While it retains the name of the latter in recognition of the visionary work of Mark Weiser, its long name reflects the dual history of the new event.

The ACM International Symposium on Wearable Computing (ISWC) discusses novel results in all aspects of wearable computing, and has been colocated with UbiComp and Pervasive since 2013.

A complete list of UbiComp, Pervasive, and ISWC past conferences is provided below.
